A brief comment to Cyn:

It is my goal to share information that helps and enlightens my readers. I'm a writer, researcher and advocate, not a scientist or a doctor. I disseminate the information these professionals discover to people who may not otherwise read it. Please note that I credit sources in this article and all others where I refer to, or use, their information. This is a common journalistic practice.

The article you referenced in your earlier communique was based on the same sources I used, however, that publication did not site sources. This is not uncommon, but is something I try to avoid and correct when it occurs.

I appreciate that you read my blog posts, hope you continue to do so, and that the information herein is helpful to you.

Blessings,
KATE

Dear Jennifer,
I'm so sorry for you loss and hope that you've created a strong, supportive circle of friends. If not, now is the time. What a difference a friend makes.
All Blessings,
Kate

I must agree with the importance of friends. I have sat for long periods of time in the stillness at the lakeside. Nothing helps when you have moved far away from friends and family.

I was caregiver for two dying parents. It was a difficult time.
